The BBQ glazed chicken is my favorite by far! I wish it wasn't only available on the Sunday buffet menu. I like trying lots of new vegetables here. Coca-Cola cake is real good. Mac n cheese is a little spicy. The Sunday wait time can be a little bit and there is a line to the buffet so don't come by in a rush on Sunday. Check Facebook for buffet menu.
The best food! We werecompletely blown away by how fabulous the food was. The green beans are a true southern style, the potato salad was phenomenal, the meats were roasted to perfection, and the BBQ sauce was delicious. I also loved the banana pudding for dessert. The service was also top notch and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stop by here again when we visit Georgia again.
First time at Cabin Creek BBQ and it was amazing! Our waitress Katie did everything right, she was great! I ordered the rib plate with fries, beans and the best mac and cheese ever! We will definitely be back! I started eating before I took a picture, but still had to post it
Cabin Creek BBQ is absolutely the best! The food is always delicious and comes in generous portions. The service is attentive and friendly, and the restaurant is locally owned by the sweetest family. Don’t leave without trying their Brunswick stew and desserts—they’re amazing! This is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves great BBQ.
If you want good bbq, some good sweet tea and some good, friendly service then Cabin Creek BBQ is the place to go!! And they give you three sides (yes, THREE) with your platter. My husband had the beef brisket platter. I had the Sampler with brisket, pulled pork and half a chicken. So. Good. I also loved the baked beans and the roasted potatoes as far as sides goes. And that Red Velvet cake...yep, good!!
We enjoyed our visit to Cabin Creek Barbecue in Nicholson, Georgia. The food was good (especially the pulled pork and the brunswick stew) and the server was attentive. We will go back for another visit.
I recently drove out to Cabin Creek BBQ Co with a friend because I’d heard good things about their barbecue — and we ended up having a really solid meal. The restaurant sits off the beaten path in Nicholson, which gives it a kind of relaxed, small‑town BBQ vibe that just feels right. From the minute you walk in, you notice the smell of smoked meat in the air and a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel welcome — it's not flashy, but it's real. We started with their sampler platter — a mix of pulled pork, ribs, and brisket — just to try a bit of everything. The ribs were meaty and well‑cooked, with the right balance of seasoning and smoky flavor. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, and the brisket had a good bark and a smoky depth that made each bite satisfying. Each platter comes with three sides; we went with baked beans, roasted potatoes, and coleslaw, and the sides were generous enough to round out the meal without overshadowing the main act. One of the highlights was the homemade‑style stew they offer — rich and comforting in a down‑home kind of way. For dessert, we tried their red‑velvet cake: sweet, moist, and a good finale to a hearty dinner. Service felt genuine. The staff were friendly, helpful without being obtrusive — checking in at the appropriate times, refilling drinks, and making sure we were comfortable. The place has a casual, come‑as‑you‑are vibe; by the end of the meal it felt like we were just sharing a nice dinner with friends rather than being treated as customers. Overall, Cabin Creek BBQ Co feels honest and homey: great food, generous portions, and warm hospitality with no frills. It’s the kind of place I’d recommend if you’re in the mood for comfort‑food BBQ and you don’t need fancy plating or pretension — just good eats and good vibes. I’d absolutely go back.
